Peer Review Assignment Instructions
Peer review is an individual task. Each group member will be assigned another project for review.
How to Conduct a Peer Review:
Step 1: Navigate to the specific group project assignment page.
Step 2: Click on “Assigned Peer Review.”
- On the left-hand side of the page (below your submission), you’ll find a section titled “Assigned Peer Reviews.”
- Within this section, you’ll see any peer reviews that have been assigned to you. Click on the name of the peer whose work you’ll be reviewing.
- An icon with a caution sign [1] indicates the peer review hasn’t been completed yet.
- A checkmark icon [2] signifies that you’ve finished the peer review.
Step 3: To access the document using Canvas DocViewer, click the “View Feedback” button [1]. This tool allows you to add comments directly to the submission [2].
Step 4: Assign your points.
- To view the grading rubric, click the “Show Rubric” link.
- To grade the assignment using the rubric:
- Choose rubric ratings or input a score for each criterion in the “Points” column.
- To deselect a rubric rating, click on the chosen rating.
- The cumulative score from each criterion will determine the total points for the assignment.
- Once you’ve finished grading, click the “Save Comment” button [6]. To see your updates, you might need to refresh your browser.
Step 5: Enter your feedback in the comment field [1].
